EDUVATION Bus Tracker is an application that allows parents of EDUVATION School Network learners to track the location of their children school bus. No more wasting time while waiting for the bus. The application will send the parents an email notification when the bus is about to reach home in the morning and in the afternoon. This application requires internet connection to operate and receive the email notification of bus arrival. Note: This application uses continuous use of the GPS chip in the background to store locations where the mobile is being taken and send those locations via GPRS or WiFi to the application server. This entails the mobile phone to be used in a dedicated tracking mode for security purposes. Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
